haha, there has been a LOT of discussion about this song on some of the adult swim message boards (toonzone and the unoficial adult swim message board). but as of today, still no one knows who created the edit. it was rumored to be a company that does a lot of other music for cartoon network (blue something) but after various contacts to them, they confirmed it wasnt them. maybe you could write to cartoon network, sometimes they actually read snail mails... i know mc chris (hesh on sealab) has some of his songs up at www.mcchris.com and calamine (sealab intro) at www.calamine.com and there is some toonami music at http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/toonami/play/downloads/index.html good luck finding the edit. if you want, the theme has been recorded off tv into an mp3, not high quality or anything, but its out there. |

hot jobs commercial "feature presentation" uses the same edit. also during a food tv show "top 5 ways to lose yourself in chocholate" used the song in the #4 way... so you could email foodtv and ask them... i believe hotjobs was contacted and they said it was stock music, so you could look around for stock music. |

Try e-mailing Rod Kotler of EMI Publishing: rkotler@emimusicpub.com EMI is the publisher of the Tito Puente song, and since the song is bringing the company money, they should be very aware of the version that is doing so. If not him, try clicking here: http://www.emimusicpub.com/worldwide/AboutEMI/resources.htm |
