Hi ericsonofthor, The answer is NO. The 1997 Toyota Avalon does not come equiped with the keyless entry, nor do they offer the keyless entry as an optional upgrade. Hi The keyless entry option from www.automobile-security.com is a better solution as one does not need to carry car keys. One can enter by using his fingerprint. Its called Identisafe-09 fingerprint keyless entry system. I have used it on my Toyota for a period of a year now. I hope i have answered your question. Also check for comparison between RF keyless entry and Fingerprint keyless entry. I feel fingerprint keyles entry and ignition start is more secure.Well you can still use or keys also. Jack |
