When using the Lotus cc:Mail connector with Microsoft Exchange 2000,
all messages that have been routed by Exchange come into cc:Mail with
the ugly default colors gray on blue; this is barely readable. We know
that the connector uses the cc:Mail IMPORT.EXE program to import the
messages. And we know that it is possible to specify the foreground
and background colors to get black on white text. We do this on some
of our own imports. (Basically, we add the text code "^B70" on the
first line of the message and use the "/HILITE" option on the command
line of the IMPORT.EXE utility.)

How can we get the Microsoft Exchange 2000 cc:Mail connector to
default to this readable color scheme? Is there a template somewhere
that we can edit? Is there a settings file: "ln.ri", "*.ini" or
whatever that controls this?

We are about to begin a transition from cc:Mail to Exchange and this
default color scheme will be very distracting.

Hey godude-ga,

As far as I know, Exchange doesn't make any changes to the messages. I
have not worked with cc:Mail before, but found this artical on
Microsofts Technet

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/prodtechnol/exchange/exchange2000/deploy/upgrdmigrate/ccmigrat.asp

Hope this helps

We are aware of that article -- searched it thoroughly for clues on
controlling this color scheme -- and found nothing.

Exchanges seems to use the default color scheme. We are asking if
there is a way to change it to black on white text.
