Simple: I had a dream with this sort of fanfare in it. Go to http://studiomiller.net/media/sound/unknownmelody.wma If it's not original, tell me what it is--point me to a song name OR link that I can verify. Easy enough. Oh, an please excuse my playing--it's kind of rough. | |

I have now ... And I can't get it out of my head. It's driving me mad ... Who wrote it? It reminds me of George Gershwin. |

Sounds a bit like the theme music for the old TV show, Adventures of the Sea Spray (I think that's right) About a teenage? girl, brother? and father travelling around in a sailing boat called Sea Spray. Cheers |

Portions of your rendition are very reminiscent to me of the theme from the Otto Preminger movie, "Exodus." Since you rendered it on piano, perhaps the Ferrante & Teicher piano version would be better for comparison than the symphonic soundtrack version. I haven't been able to find a free link for the complete piece, but a fairly decent sample is here, track #2:http://music.barnesandnoble.com/search/product.asp?z=y&PWB=1&EAN=77779882328 What do you think? |
