Seeking title of old children's book. Favorite of mine in early
1960's... loved it around 1963, but don't know when it was published.
From 'dim' memory, it was about an old rag collector and his horse
drawn wagon in New York, where he'd (apparently) collect rags. Anyway,
the most CONFIRMED thing I can definately recall, is that his horse's
name was Jeffrey Michael (I named my youngest brother after the
horse... thanks Mom!). The cover shows the horse wearing a hat with
holes cut out for it's ears, and also probably the man and wagon. Old,
but I'd love to find this book for my four year old son.
