According to the latest statistics from the World Health
Organization's report "World Health Statistics 2006", there are:

730,801 doctors in the US (2.56 doctors per 1,000 population), and 

2,086 doctors in Zimbabwe (0.16 doctors per 1,000 population).


Quite a difference!
