Interaction-based marketing. Does it work? How does it work? Why does it work? Will it be bigger in the future? By interaction-based marketing, I am talking about a one on one, personal interaction between marketer and consumer. The whole question is whether a positive interaction can influence the consumer to purchase the product in the future. The supposition would be that the consumer subconsciously reflects back to the original interaction when choosing to buy the product, days, months, and years later. Sort of a psychological anchoring effect. Some examples would be brand ambassadors and street teams for certain products. Thanks! |
