In the late 1960s there was a movie made in Pakistan called Anari. I
am 90% sure that was the title but not 100% sure. In it was a song
called "Likhay Parhay Hotay Agar, To Hum Ye Khat Purhtay" ("If I could
read, I would read this letter"). It was sung by a female artist:
maybe Runa Laila or Naheed Ahktar, but could have been someone else.

I want a recording of that song in WAV or MP3 or similar format, or a
website that's selling it either electronically or on CD.

Please be aware that there have almost certainly been other movies
also called Anari. The one I mean was made in the late 1960s and
starred the actor Nadeem in the lead role. Only that movie has the
song I am looking for.

Please also note one complication. This movie was released on video at
some time in the 1980s or 1990s but in an edited version that did not
include the song I want. So if someone finds a video or DVD of the
movie being sold somewhere, that will NOT be a sufficient answer for
me unless you can state that you are sure that it contains the song.

Because of the high price I am willing to pay, I only want a
definite result, not merely a 'lead'.

P.S. There was also a companion song in the same movie called "Likhay
Parhay Hotay Agar To Hum Ye Khat LIKHTAY" ("If I could WRITE, I would
WRITE this letter"). It was sung by a man. If someone can also find
that song I'll add a generous tip to the fee.
