Since I was looking for the same thing, I tried Barchart.com, but that
wasn't very useful at all. I couldn't even get *today's* option prices
out of that.
Here's the one you want:
http://www.quotemedia.com/
A word of advice: don't ever buy any stock or option contract before
having strict rules or price points about when you are going to sell
it (that means not getting too greedy when it goes up and cutting your
losses when it goes down). "Optimism" is just another word for lack of
discipline when it comes to trading. I read this before, ignored it,
and learned it the hard way. The problem is that it doesn't matter if
you "read" a stock right, if the market takes a different view.
Another word of advice: don't bother option trading unless you have at
least $5000 that you can afford to lose. This is the only way that you
can diversify without getting eaten by commissions.
More free advice: don't trust the stock analysts. They are only good
for hindsight, not foresight. Of course, Kramer is an exception. He
tries to teach you how to pick good stocks instead of just telling
what to buy or sell. |
