Question ID: 749547
Is there any motherboard that's compatitble with Intel's new conroe
cpu and supports SLI. I think it would need a nForce 5 northbridge. If
there isn't any MB that's compatible today, then when will it be
released? I know Asus's P5N32-SLI SE (different from P5N32-SLI
Deluxe) supports SLI and conroe but I don't think it's released yet.

The other motherboard, one which I am interested in is

Asus P5ND2-SLI

It is Core Duo 2 compatible and supports SLI, it uses the nForce4
chipset. This motherboard has been released and I have seen some web
shops selling it in the UK when doing searches.

Let me know if this helps.

Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (MB-152-AS)

however ,
I see these being relativly unused as SLI technology is being placed
onto the Ghrapics card.. eg
"Designed for extreme HD gaming, the BFG NVIDIAŽ SLI?-Ready* GeForceŽ
7950 GX2 combines the power of two GeForce 7950 graphics processing
units on a single graphics card. Gainward are pushing the boundaries
of Extreme performance with this unbelievable graphics powerhouse,
along with a 512-bit memory interface and an astounding 1GB of fast
GDDR3 memory, enable an incredibly smooth, ultra-realistic gaming
experience at resolutions up to 2560x1600"
