I have not been able to find a percentile breakdown, but here are some figures broken down by gender: Male Range: $141,132 - $195,531. Median: $168,332 Female Range: $162,254 - $162,254. Median: $162,254 http://www.payscale.com/research/vid-10070 Here the range for first-year ophthalmologists is given as $120,000 to $190,000, with an average of $145,000: http://www.physicianssearch.com/physician/salary1.html The same site gives the range for ophthalmologists with three years of practice as $161,763 to $417,000, with an average of $246,823: http://www.physicianssearch.com/physician/salary2.html |
