Do you really mean UV radiation therapy? UV radiation will not
penetrate to the liver. Do you really want another kind of radiation
therapy?

Yes, Ultraviolet rays (radiation) to block the evolution of the
hepatic tumor. There was some sort of article concerning this in
Leadership magazine, however I have not been able to find the article.

cettina,
I have done numerous searches and found no mention of UV radiation in
conjunction with hepatic tumors. I have found mention of several OTHER
kinds of radiation however. The only mention of UV radiation has been
in the capacity of being the causative agent of cancer (skin
primarily), not in a curative capacity.

Hello cettina,
Are you perhaps thinking of a type of chemotherapy where light is used
to transform the drug into its active form? This is not yet a standard
treatment, and it is mainly aimed at tumors near the body surface,
although there is a trial of its use in hepatic tumor metastases.
There are also some reports of studies of this technique in animals
with experimentally-induced hepatic tumors. However, I think that the
light used is laser light rather than UV.
