Hi nelson,

These are figures that I could find for after the new MTA contract,
which mostly affected bus drivers.

1) bus driver--

for those hired before July 1, 1997-- $24.30
Those after that date, $20.55 an hour.

According to Wikipedia, average is US$63,000.

2) subway motorman/operator--

$50,000 starting salary

According to Wikipedia, average is same as bus driver's, $63,000.

3) Subway conductor--

$46,883

Average is US$54,000 according to Wikipedia.

4) Token booth clerk
(called a station agent now)

"Current minimum salary is $15.4600 per hour, with increments to a
current maximum of $21.6425 per hour after three years."

http://www.nyc.gov/html/dcas/downloads/pdf/noes/stationagent.pdf

Average is US$51,000 according to Wikipedia.
