There are sites I have looked at, which I do not want anyone else to know about. They now appear in the google history every time I use Google. How do I remove them? In Internet Explorer it is only a matter of reducing the 'history'. How do I do this in Google? |

Hi Mr Bear, If you are visiting the Google website to do your searching, and the searchbox has your previous enquiries, you can remove them by: 1) In IE go to Tools / Internet Options / Content / AutoComplete. 2) Untick the box beside "Forms" and click on "Clear Forms". If it is the Google Toolbar you are using: 1) Click on the Google logo to access the drop down menu. 2) Choose the Clear Search History option. This will clear all the previous searches out of the drop down box. ( from http://toolbar.google.com/faq.html#history ) Search strategy: Personal experience Best wishes, robertskelton-ga |
