Question ID: 750422
I have a question about a company - "SafePay Solutions". I have been
asked to use this service to make a payment to a UK based seller. I am
required to make the payment before seeing the goods, but in theory my
payment will be returned if I am not satisfied. Are you able to give
me any rating on this service, or is it a scam? Appreciate any input.

I can't tell you if they are legit or not (though I see nothing that
screams 'scam'), but I would suggest caution just the same. This is a
relatively new company and already has an unsatisfactory rating with
the Better Business Bureau:

What additional information would you like to have on this company?

I personally feel that this company is at least trading and usable, IF
they were a British based company, such as neteller.com, then they
would be covered under the financial Services Authority and as such
you could check up on them.

However in my search I have found the following information.

I believe that they are a reputable company (I am extremely paranoid
about these things myself so I can fully agree with your suspicion).

I have never used them myself (I have used neteller, is that a viable
option for the seller?) but out of my searching I only found 1 bad
review of them and 0 good ones.

If you have problems you can speak to their parent company.
