I am looking for online high school textbooks for traditional (social studies..english..etc) and elective high schools courses (fine arts..photography). Looking for a list of providers that offer online high school textbooks in HTML or PDF format. There should be no requirement to subscribe to the publisher's learning management system (e.g., WebCT). The online content should not be a "supplement" to a physical textbook. | |

johnharris123-ga, Pearson Prentice Hall has a full series of iTexts that are available online or on a CD-Rom. You can find links to them here: http://www.phschool.com/successnet/preview_it.html Preview a sample of the interactive online textbook... The same trusted content as the printed textbook with interactive activities, videos, audio, and self-assessments to engage all learners As has been noted below, the ebook offerings for high school textbooks are quite limited...I think you'll find the Prentice Hall offerings not only to be of high quality, but quite possibly, the only broad-based option available for online textbooks at the high school level. Enjoy...! Let me know if there's anything else that you need. pafalafa-ga search strategy: Google searches on combinations of: ebook etextbook k-12 "high school" |

Just to let you know, most high school textbooks are not available in pdf or even more copyprotected formats (Microsoft Reader). This is starting somewhat with college/university texts, but not so much with high school texts. tisme-ga |
