Islands:

There is a site which has all Australia basketball on it but it does
not list a team called the Ivanhoe Knights. What level of competition?
(high school, college, semi-pro, pro)  The main team in Melbourne is
the Tigers.  Could it be that the Ivanhoe Knights are sponsored in
another city other than Melbourne?  Could the team name have been
changed. Is your son from the USA because this site has a listing of
all USA players on various level teams in Australia.  A bit more
information could help find the team you are seeking...

I've had a bit of a search, and can find no references to the Ivanhoe
Knights basketball club. However, I did find that the Northern Knights
football club is based in Ivanhoe...

Greetings:

The Ivanhoe East Basketball Club, better known as the Ivanhoe Knights,
does indeed have a website. I am happy to provide you with its home
URL address: http://www.ivanhoeknights.org/index.htm.

The team is celebrating its 25th anniversary. It was started in 1977
by a boys' hockey coach who decided that basketball was a good summer
activity for his players. The Knights affiliated with, and remain
operative, under the bylaws of the Eastern Districts Junior Basketball
Association, Inc. The team's website seems well-developed, and I've
included some key pages as part of the sources and additional links
offered below.
