are you asking?  Are you asking for the female vocalists on the Artie
Shaw ALBUM titled "Begin the Beguine?" They're Billie Holiday and
Helen Forrest.

But if you're asking for the female voacalist(s) on "Begin the
Beguine" -- the actual SONG itself as recorded by Artie Shaw -- which
is ALSO on the album of the same name -- there were none.  The famous
Artie Shaw version was an instrumental arrangement.

But the composer of that version was indeed Cole Porter.  So your
subject heading, "NOT" Cole Porter. . . what do you mean?

I would like to know where I could find a female singer singing a
version of Artie Shaw's composition (the more upbeat one) of Begin the
Beguin the song.  I don't want a female singer of the original song by
Cole Porter (i.e. Sheryl Crow).

Not the album's singers, not Cole Porter's version. It doesn't have to
be Artie Shaw.  I'm only looking for the version Artie Shaw created of
Cole Porter's original composition sung by a woman.
