Thanks for all your answers - really appreciate the advice.
I will move my gate halfway down the drive and ask them to move their
gate halfway up the drive, thereby keeping everyone happy.  Will also
add indemnification for injury to the letter. My property is 3 acres
and I already gave them a chunk of land in exchange for my back drive,
so I can't do more than that!!!
