The term "new media" envolves around the latest form of mass
communication. It tends to be used primarily to talk about emerging
digital/electronic communications forms, particularly the internet and
the World Wide Web, but could also be about the role of newspapers and
magazines in the future.

I am looking for links to conferences from 2005 and 2006 that focus on this theme.

This is my first questions using google answers, and as I do not know
how long it takes to work out a list of links that i can walk throug
to get some inspiration, i have set aside 5$ for the task. So please
give me 5$ worth of answers.

Hello mogensen,

Welcome! We are pleased to have you as a customer.

A synonym for "new media" as you defined it above is web 2.0, although
this also includes the idea of collaboration and community created
content. This is the area where major developments in new media are
advancing the fastest.
