Question ID: 751550
I need a list of companies that provide taggants that can be
applied to merchandise labels (brand protection) and security
documents (stamps, passports, currency, and so on). I'd like to know
which products they offer.

An example of what I'm looking for is Superior Microfibers, which was
bought by Cabot Industries.

Websites/contact name and other contact information would be appreciated.

Taggants may be fibre-based (glass, ceramic), chemical (DNA, nano
particles), and magnetic, and perhaps other types.

Would this be an example of the kind of product you're looking for?

It would be helpful to know how long a list would need to be in order
to be fully satisfactory. If we have a good idea of your expectations,
we'll be more likely to be able to meet them.

Yes, the taggant from Appleton, at
http://www.appletonideas.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ASPProductsTMEncodedTaggantsView?langId=-1&catalogId=239327&storeId=139327&lookup=yes
is an example of what I'm looking for.

The information should be a good size list of products and taggants -
there are perhaps 50 companies with such products, but a list of 20-40
are sufficient for my needs.

If you do not receive an answer soon, you may want to consider
increasing your price or reducing the size of the list required. It
took me ten minutes to locate one company. At that rate, gathering a
list of 20 to 40 might take 200 to 400 minutes, and few Researchers
would find $11.25 (the Researcher's share of your fee) to be
sufficient compensation for that amount of work. It is, of course,
possible that a prefabricated list could exist online. However, I
haven't found one.

I hope another Researcher will be able to help.
