I am looking for a script, PHP is preferred, to be able to get me the
top 100 blogs on a given keyword from Technorati, along with the rank,
url, links, and the Alexa traffic data: 3 mo av traffic rank, 3 mo av
reach, 3 mo av page views per user. Preferably this would be written
to a MySQL database though a flat text file is also fine.

I know this is similar to a previous question:

But I am looking for as much data as I can on these blogs, though his
answer may be a good starting point.

Hi,

I can't find any app that does what you are looking for, however both
Technorati and Alexa seem to offer suitable API services that should
make developing this sort of application fairly simple. I believe I
could probably do so.

Can you provide an example of what you mean but the 'top 100 blogs'
for a keyword? I am not that familiar with Technorati, and it seems to
rank posts individually rather than blogs as a whole.

As for the database, can you provide some idea of how you would like
the data stored?

Also, are you happy to sign up to the Technorati and Alexa (Amazon)
developers programs for access keys to API functions?

Let me know and I can look into developing this script.
