I am looking for a way to have wireless broadband access that no only
works while I'm in a variety of places, but while I'm physically
moving (car/train/etc.).

Also, I'm looking for software that can read and operate via voice
control so that I can effectively email hands-free, and ideally
perform basic desktop functions hands-free.

If you know of a combination of software/hardware/service that can
provide this, preferable for a one time cost of =<$250 and monthly
cost of =<$80, that is much better.

I currently have a Treo 650 with data service from Sprint, a Dell
notebook PC with bluetooth and wireless network (not Internet)
capability.

I will accept any combination of the phone, PC and suggested
services/hardware/software that will provide effective hands-free
emailing.

Use dragon naturally speaking for your voice control software. Or if
you want a crappier software app, Microsoft used to have one. But you
had to spell out every letter, it sucked. Dragon is the best however.

You said you had data access on your cellphone. That seems to be the
best option for on the go broadband. If that's not fast enough for
you, then switch to Nextel.
