I am the son of an adopted father. My father has never known many things about his life since he was abandoned at the age of 7. My father has tried many times to find out about himself, but the governement will not give him any information about his parents or his ethnic background(They say they can't release information because they must protect his parents). I am 16 years old and am beginning to search for colledges and am looking for scholorships, and I have noticed that there is many many scholarships based on your ethnicity. There are also many other opportunities that can be presented to you if you come from a certain ethnicity. My question is since there is no way that I can find out my true ethnicity, is it possible for me to just say I am a certain ethnicity like part american indian or african american? For all I know I could actually be american indian, since Im kinda dark skinned, then I could become rich off casinos and such. I feel it unfair for the government to withold this crucial information from me and my family. |

College does not have a "d" in it. (I would let the first instance go, but you spelled it that way again.) Have your father hire a private detective. |
