florianrr-ga, From what I have seen from my searching, as well as my own familiarity with the higher education system in the US, there are only a small number of schools that very adamantly DO NOT accept students for the Spring or Winter semesters. I think you wll find that, generally, most schools WILL offer such off-season acceptance in at least some of their program areas. A Google search on the following terms: "spring admission" OR "jan OR january OR feb OR february OR mar OR march admission" OR "winter admission" OR "winter 2007 admission" 2007 site:edu returned a great many schools that offer Spring or Winter admissions, in addition to the more usual Fall admissions. You can see the search results here: ://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&lr=&rls=GGLD%2CGGLD%3A2003-43%2CGGLD%3Aen&q=%22spring+admission%22+OR+%22jan+OR+january+OR+feb+OR+february+OR+mar+OR+march+admission%22+OR+%22winter+admission%22+OR+%22winter+2007+admission%22+2007+site%3Aedu&btnG=Search Please note that not every school listed here actually offers off-season admissions...occasionally a search result turns up due to the presence of a phrase such as "..no Spring admissions are offered" at XYZ University. But for the most part, the list shows a large number of schools that do offer such admissions for all or some of their program areas, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. I have listed many of the schools offering Spring and Winter admissions below, from across the country, although there are many on the list from schools in California and New York, as your question indicated these are a priority for you. I trust the information below fully answers your question. However, please don't rate this answer until you have everything you need. If you would like any additional information, just post a Request for Clarification to let me know how I can assist you further, and I'm at your service.
