Hi ma12345-ga! Sounds like a fun topic for a paper. I majored in Humanities-English in college and I *loved* learning about New Historicism. I had a wonderful professor who brought it to life and made it fun and fascinating. Here are some links to help you better understand this literary approach. http://www.sou.edu/English/Hedges/Sodashop/RCenter/Theory/Explaind/nhistexp.htm http://www.cla.purdue.edu/english/theory/newhistoricism/ I hope that's at least a good start for you! Sincerely, Boquinha-ga |
