The link to Gurgle tool bar showed me that a spell checker already existed in safari. I had this computer for three years now and I didn't know it was there. Now all the words will be spelt correctly though they may be the wrong word . thank you again, Paf. Kemlo |

Spelling checkers can be a nuisance where jargon, slang, specialized terms, and proper nouns are concerned. For example, when I ran a spelling check on this question and its responses, the checker wanted to turn "kemlo" into my choice of "kilo," "kelp," Elmo," or "cello. "Pafalafa" caused it to choke, also. It suggested that I consider "alfalfa" or "paralegal." When it came up against "-ga," it helpfully suggested that I try "gad," "gag," "gal," or "gap." Well, -ga me with a spoon. |

Sorry, Meklo But computers and sepling checkers are not the way forward, they are actually the major cause of bad sepling. I recommend that you get a pen and paper and write out ten times: 'I must improve my sepling' You can use this same method to improve your geography which I recall also needs some work: 'Flint ain't in England (yet) it's still in Wales' Good Luck!
