Question ID: 752724
How to find out the list of animals whose eye pupils morph to a slit
in the daylight. Can you suggest a public database in the Internet for
this query?

I hope to find out whether there are common features of these animals.
So a list containing as many animals as possible will be better.

Thanks

Howdy dhwoow-ga,

I suspect the following will help you quite a bit.

"Pupil shapes and lens optics in the eyes of terrestrial vertebrates"
http://jeb.biologists.org/cgi/content/full/209/1/18

"WHY SOME CREATURES HAVE SLIT SHAPED PUPILS"
http://jeb.biologists.org/cgi/content/full/209/1/i

If the above will do as the answer to your question, please tell me
and I will it as such.

Looking Forward, denco-ga - Google Answers Researcher
