Question ID: 752796
I am looking for manufacturers in US, who specialise in making
replacement parts of various pumps (condensate, brine pumps, for example),
originally made by Ingersoll Rand company. IR is not making these
anymore and it is not possible to have from Flowserve (to whom IR
sold this division). Pumps are over 20 years old. Definitely there
are some private manufacturers who specialise in this area and can
make/supply replacements parts just by having the part number, serial
numbers.

Some of the required parts are: Impellers, Shaft Sleeves.

An early reply would be highly appreciated.

Dear Hummer

Thank you very much for answering the question.

Yes, I should have clarified as to how many manufacturers I was
looking for. I would very much appreciate your giving me at least 10
and more company names.

Once again, thanks for the quick reply.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Dear Hummer

Another thing, of the 5 names that you listed, 2 are not the
manufacturers themselves.

Thought, should inform you of this.

Hi rogerisin,

Yes, I was aware that a couple weren't exactly what you were looking
for but after struggling with your question, I was happy to find
anything that might help you even if they weren't manufacturers. I'll
have another look and will try my best to find more for you and let
you know how I make out.

Till later

Dear Hummer

If it helps, all 3 have not been of much use.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Dear rogerisin,

Hmm, not even OKPumpsParts? I guess you'll need to tell me why it's of
no use to you because at least that one sounds good to me.

Thanks,
hummer

Dear Hummer

From the website, OKpumps looked quite promising but it turns out to
be that they too are not manufacturers. They are kind of
representative (sales agent) of some of the manufacturers. And they
were not familiar with the serial numbers/part numbers in which I have
interest.

Hope this helps.

Many thanks.

Dear Hummer

Sorry, I was just busy in finding out more pumpcomonents company that
is why I could not acknowledge it before. It looks promising but there
is no telephone number on their website so have written a mail to
them, and now I am waiting for them to respond. If they have given
their phone, it could have save lot of time.

On AB Industrial, guess what? They too are not really manufacturers.
No jokes. Called them on the phone just now.

Well........

Dear Hummer

No, I am not dishearterned but am more of wondering than anything
else. Thanks for the encouragement. Actually, it should be the other
way around. Or perhaps, both ways. :)

Okay, a quick feedback on Elizabeth and Magga companies. Elizabeth
does not deal in this. Engineer to whom I spoke, says he has not even
heard of IR. As to Magga, lady who picked up the phone, did not know
anything about it and has taken my number, saying, owner is busy with
someone. So, have left the number. But, am not expecting much from
there, as of now.

While typing this, have seen you have given another 4 number/names.
Will go through them now, and will let you know the outcome.

Thanks, really.

Dear Hummer

This is just a quick note to express my apologies for not having come
back to you earlier, and having left the things in between.

Reason is, a tragedy has taken place in the family and I have been
busy in making travel plans (visa/flights). There is a strong
possibility that I would be away for about a week to 10 days, in case
I travel.

Once again, sorry.

Talk to you when I come back.

In the meanwhile, thanks a lot.
