Wow! I knew Dubai was booming, but some of the projects I came across
in my search are unbelievable! Clearly, there is a demand in this
part of the world for engineers of all stripes and areas of expertise.
At the same time, this is an area of the world where business
information is still difficult to come by -- online Yellow Pages,
business directories, professional associations, news articles and
other sources of information so familiar in many parts of the world
are still a rarity in much of the Middle East.

As you can see, most of the listings are for companies or projects in
Dubai, with just a few mentions of work in Qatar. I did not come
across any companies that had a specific presence in acoustical
engineering in Oman.
