The Mitsubishi HD1100U D-VHS vcr can make both digital and analog recordings. My
question is can I record the two formats on the same tape one right
after the other, and if this is possible will the player recognize the
change in formats on playback and correctly display everything. This
includes changing the output mechanism, as the vcr has no mpeg
decoder, so in going from playing analog vhs to digital vhs, the
output would have to go from the composite port to the firewire port
and vice-versa when playing digital content and switching to analog.
Can the device do this?
