Americans spend an estimated  3 billion dollars a year on Christmas cards.

According to the National Retail Federation (2003), Americans spent
$2.29 billion on Christmas cards.

"Last year, Americans spent $937.50 million on Valentine?s Day cards,
second only to Christmas card sales, which saw $2.29 billion in sales,
according to the Greeting Card Association."

They should look at using electronic christmas cards , ecards that
would save them a load of money and help the environment, check out
