Cloudmont Ski Resort in Alabama tries hard to open every year. I'm sure they are a close second to Alyeska. |

Skiing in Alabama???? http://www.cloudmont.com/ Skiing We have two one-thousand foot, beginner-intermediate slopes. Two "pony lifts" take skiers to the top of the slopes that have an elevation of 1,800 feet and a vertical rise of 150 feet. Saturday, Mar 4 28, 2006, Slopes are CLOSED today. We are open for horseback riding, golfing, and hiking. Too warm today. |
