Hi, I want to know that if I would walk into a normal grocery store
that sells cereal in Switzerland, Italy or Germany would I find normal
Cheerios there (I'm NOT talking about Honey Nut Cheerios or Frosted
Cheerios or the other sweetened one)?

I know that in the country Iceland ALL shops that sells cereal sell
normal Cheerios.
I also know that in France NONE shop that sells cereal sells normal
Cheerios (but many of them do sell Honey Nut Cheerios).

I ask this because now I'm located in France and I need normal
Cheerios, and I'm ready to drive to Switzerland, Italy or Germany to
get it if I have to.... but don't want to drive there if they do not
sell it :)

Taste of America is a Swiss-based food supplier that specializes in
otherwise hard-to-get American foods, and Yes, they carry Cheerios:

http://www.tasteofamerica.ch/

It is not a walk-in store, apparently, but you can call them (or fax
or email or web-order), and the Cheerios will arrive at your doorstep
shortly thereafter.

Do you think that will meet your needs?

hi and thanks for the comments,
just to answer the clarification and some of the comments :)

pafalafa-ga: Thanks for the site tip, but they are VERY expensive on
this site ( http://www.tasteofamerica.ch/ ) over $10 for a single box.

tutuzdad-ga: "For that same $100 bucks you could probably get 10 boxes
mailed to you and they'll arrive in a week."
thanks for this... but the case is that me and my family eat about 2
boxes of Cheerios per week, thats why I don't want to order online...
I would like to drive somewhere and FILL my car with Cheerios!! :)

sonoritygenius-ga: thanks for the amazon tip (you can buy the box
there for half the price than www.tasteofamerica.ch)... would be a
possibility, but food is one of the product that Amazon does not ship
outside of the US.

So anyone?... it seems my grocery store answer is still needed... :)

Forgive me for asking, but instead of paying $25 for an answer and $75
to drive to one of those countries, wouldn't it seem more efficient to
have someone mail you some Cheerios? For that same $100 bucks you
could probably get 10 boxes mailed to you and they'll arrive in a
week. Alternatively, you could try to find someone in the US military
who has access to the PX or Commissary anywhere in Europe who can mail
you some boxes even cheaper and they'll be there even quicker.

Just a thought...

LOL...

Perhaps nediam1234 could do a commercial ad for Cheerios?

He/she sure seems to be a huge fan :)
