We were given an Epson Stylus Color 777 printer, Model P230.

Need to know if a driver is available for this printer compatible with

thanks much!

Hello timespacette-ga,

The good news is that there are drivers for your printer built right into Mac OS X.

Official List of Supported Printers:

Secondary Source: http://episteme.arstechnica.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/8300945231/m/1400917031

I hope this was quick enough for you!

hi tisme-ga,

yes, quick enough. actually not loading things up until tomorrow, but
there's way too much to do tonight.

I'll offer a tip to triple this fee if you can now tell me what type
of cord we need to order, description and even a link to the very item
if possible! This would be the cord from printer to computer; it's
missisng.

thanks for your time!

Hello timespacette-ga,

You can order your cable from the list of cables on this site (USB only):
http://www.superwarehouse.com/Epson_Stylus_Color_777_Refurbished/C383001REFURB/p/247150

The cable you need is a USB 4 pin Type A (M) to 4 pin Type B (M)
cable. Also known as a A/B Type USB cable.

The cheapest cables I was able to find are on this website:
http://www.compunettech.com/category.aspx?categoryID=186 although
shipping depends on where you are located.

You could also go into a local store and ask for a type a to type b
usb cable. You will be paying retail, but will not have to pay
shipping so it will even out.

Note: Don't by a parallel cable because that will not work on your
mac. It works only with PCs even though it is listed as a cable for
your printer.

Good luck on the move!
