I have found e-surveiller, a commercial system monitor, on my office
computer. I have not yet removed it. Is there a way to determine where
the information gathered is going?

Click on Start, Run, type in: cmd
Click OK

Type in netstat -a

This will show you all connections that your computer is currently involved in.

I entered the command netstat -a, and what I got was a list of active
connection at that exact moment. I also don't know what I should be
looking for. How does one know if one is looking at an email being
sent? Did you want me to somehow capture the screen and send that to
you?

It just gives you a glimpse at the connections happening at that time.
A screenshot might help if you close everything and made sure that any
internet connections not needed were closed (IE: No internet browsers
etc.)

If you're using Windows Firewall, download Agnitum Outpost Firewall
from www.outpost.com and every min see the connections. Probably you
can view it.

jimtac

if you are trying to obtain the information where the data is being
sent you have to use the log viewer of this software, use the lik
below to see how to

http://www.e-surveiller.com/help/en/opening_the_log_viewer.htm

and this will help you,
and this will also show you who installed it, (username from which it
was installed)
