It's written in Chinese. Some of the characters are missing or hard to read because the paper is wrinkled. Perhaps native speaker of Chinese can puzzle it out |

As already pointed out by purplecloud-ga, it is not Japanese.
Therefore, it would perhaps be a good idea to change the question's
"Subject" ("Re: Translate Japanese (?) letter into English"), i.e.
