How do I stop Outlook XP from instantly sending messages? Outlook is
not paying attentions to my send/receive schedule and is sending out
email as soon as it hits the outbox.

Hello professionalpoker-ga,

In Outlook, click on Tools, Options, Mail Setup.

Make sure that the option for "send immediately when connected" is NOT checked. 

This should fix your problem. If not, please let me know and I will
