I have a 2005 Honda Pilot. If the driver's seat belt is not fastened, I get a series of warning beeps every 1/2 mile for approximately 10 miles. How can I disable this "feature"? |

Have you tried "fastening" the seat belt? I do believe that is the purpose of the sound; to remind you to obey the laws as well as encourage safety. - artqs |

This should be a relatively easy task. First off, it reminds you for a good reason, because it's the law. Second, there are some reasons that are OK to wear it. I'm not responsible for what you do to your car. If you look at the seatbelt buckle assembly, and go down to where it bolts onto the car, you will find a set of wires somewhere on there. If you're lucky, all you have to do is cut two wires and connect them together. I know with other Honda cars, there is an accesory fuse you can take out and it will stop working, not sure. |
