I know of three different comedies where this occured, but ironically
they all involve the same actor:

The Andy Griffith Show ? Don Knotts? character ?Barney? did it all the
time. A scene where Barney shot first and aimed later occurred in
?Barney Gets His Man?, the episode when Barney accidentally captures a
fugitive, but there were other shows as well. In this episode Thelma
Lou walks up behind a very nervous Barney Fife and he drew his pistol
and shot the floor before aiming it right at her:

Don Knotts character ?Dr. Jesse W. Heywood? did it again in ?The
Shakiest Gun in the West?. During different gun battles the nervous
Dr. Heywood shot randomly and at times even while hiding and shooting
over something, unaware that gunslinger looking out for him was
actually doing all the actual killing for him.

Once again Don Knotts? character ?Theodore Ogelvie? pulled a very
similar stunt in ?The Apple Dumpling Gang?; shooting first and looking
later.

Is this sufficient?
