Is there any bank in the Chicagoland area that sells current silver dollar coins?

I'm not aware that there are any current silver dollars in production.
Older silver dollars would be sold at coin shops.

Can you clarify what it is you're after?

Thanks.

True silver dollars (as well as dimes, quarters, and halves) were last
minted in 1964. Collectors silver are available but they are not
distubuted into general circulation by banks. Matter of fact, they are
made specifically for collectors. You could probably find them at any
local coin shop or you can buy them online at www.usmint.gov

They are legally worth $1, but the silver value alone makes them 'cost' much more.

"Current dollar coins" (which do not contain silver) should be
available at many banks, though availability will vary and you might
have to check a few banks.
