I'd like to know the following statistic: what percentage of U.S.
consumers typically carry a digital camera (including camera phone)
with them on a given day (like in the car, in a purse, around
shoulder, etc.). I'm trying to prove that, now more than ever,
consumers are ready to capture impromptu footage because many of them
are already carrying a camera during the day's activities and errands.

I'll accept a similar statistic that gives the same impression.

Thanks!

This link gives a plethora of information on the boom in camera phone usage:

http://www.wirelessmoment.com/statistics_camera_phones/index.html

such as "Lyra Research says there will be 850 million camera phones in
use this year and more than 1.5 billion in 2010, according to the
firm's press release."

I think that from numbers like this (and the fact that people carry
their phones with them on a daily basis), it is not difficult to prove
your hypothesis. I'd actually say that it is probably an accepted fact
already.

I hope this helps.

Have a good day.
