I am starting to get interested in photomossaics. You know, its where
a big picture is created from a whole bunch of little pictures. Here
are some obvious examples:

The only thing is, of course, you need a huge database of image files!

I would like to know links to at least 15 places where you can
download FREE images in BULK. For example, the ability to download
1000 pictures in one large .zip file. This would allow me to
accumulate a large number of pictures without having to download each
and every one by hand. I would really be interested in bulk download
of CD covers.

Please send the links to at least 15 sites that have photos / clip art
that can be downloaded in bulk. Whether the site has predetermined ZIP
files already made, or a search engine where you can save lots of
images to a "basket", and then download the entire "basket" at once
does not matter. But it has to be 100% free, and the site must have
files that contain at least 500 images in one large compressed or
archive download.

The files should be normal gif, jpeg, or bmp files. I do not want
proprietary formats (like AutoCad, PhotoShop native format, etc.)
Other formats may be too rare to be used with freeware
photomossaicers.

Very interested in sites that allow BULK (not individual) downloading of CD covers.

Since this question has not been touched for three days, I will now
say that a site that offers downloading of any number of image files
in bulk will do, even if it is less than 500. I will go ahead and say
post 7 sites rather than 15. Anyone can use the comments area to
state where good sources of photomossaic image databases are,
reguardless of how the downloading system works.
