The cost of broadband connection in metros starts as low as Rs199
PM(+service tax) from MTNL(requires MTNL phone connection) which
includes 400mb data download at 256kbps speed(don't confuse in
kbps((kilo bit per second)and kBps(kilo bytes per second) 1byte
=8bit)don't confuse in this Data Download which includes file/
programmes download, E-mail receiving & its attachments, Web sites
Browsing /Surfing, Chatting , on line games, Videos and Songs etc i.e.
any data received on your Computer from Internet is treated as
download. If you think 400mbs are less than you can opt for anthor plan
which cost Rs590(+service tax) which includes 1GB data
download(download means same as above) and unlimited data download
between 00:00(midnight) to 8:00am. Unlimited plan available at Rs
1390(+sevice tax) at 256kbps.For more info you can refer to mtml site
for update in plans. In all these plans you have to registration and
installation fee which cost you around Rs 1300 in which Rs 500 is
refundable.MTNL is available all over delhi and mumbai.
You can also use airtel brodband which is available in most areas in
delhi. You have contact airtel customer to know it is available in your
area or not(ie go to airtel site).
Plans:
Unlimited data download at Rs 699 at 128kbps speed.
Unlimited data download at Rs 999 at 256kbps speed.

Tata indicom &BSNL is another options for you but I would not
recommend you to go for tataindicom plan because service of tata
indicom is not satisfactory.BSNL's plan start as low as Rs249 Pm. BSNL
available in all metros except delhi and mumbai.

At last as per my thinking go for airtel brodband if not available
then go for bsnl, mtnl at third position.
I am using mtnl broadband(delhi) because airtel is not available in my area.
