How do I as a complete newcomer add a blog and rss feeds etc. to my
current website, I have good news stories on the site but they do not
seem to get lots of interest, I cannot update my own website by the
way, I have seen how a blog can be updated easily without programming

Hi,
How is your website structured at present? Is it simply HTML files you
upload (or have someone upload for you)?
Does your webhost support any server-side scripting languages, such as
PHP, Ruby o r ASP? Do you have a domain name?
And, do you want to add this to your existing site, or build a new
site within the framework of a blog-type application?
With the answers to these questions, I should be able to provide you a
suitable answer.

Hi,
I am more familiar with PHP than ASP, so I don't have anything I am
certain will work, but here are a list of ASP-applications that seem
to suit your needs.
They run as stand-alone applications, but can be integrated into your
existing site though custom templates or similar. Your ability to run
them may depend a little on the abilities of your webhost. I would
suggest that if you find one here you like the look of you contact
your webhost and ask them to confirm that it will work for you.

Free - 'Linkware'
ASP (VBScript) and MSSQL/MySQL based
Simple Blog 2.3

Also see these, although details aren't as clear for them:

Are any of these applications what you are looking for?

Hi,
So what are you looking for in an answer?
Generally speaking, with any software like this, the only way to know
for sure if it is suitable for you is to try.
The first two I mentioned certainly seem to fit your criteria. I'd
suggest trying them out to see if they are suitable.
