Hi,

Most ISPs do not actively block any ports. Some exceptions to this may
include common peer-to-peer ports where an ISP's service agreement
deems that sort of usage unreasonable. Also, some ISP block port 25
(SMTP) connections to host outside their network to reduce spam and
virus problems.

Do you have any reason to believe your ISP is limiting inbound ports?
If you are using an ADSL or Cable modem/router, it is far more likely
that it is blocking inbound connections. These can be enabled and
redirected through that device with a process often called
'pinholing'.

Can you provide any more information about your specific situation?

Sycophant

Are you looking for a quick test to run that would determine if they
filter/throttle certain types of traffic? We can probably help you set
up one or two tests for the amount of $10.

Also if you give us your isp name and your city, we could research it
from that angle as well.

Perhaps an online port scan might be of use, like:

or
