looking for software that will generate an equation (several points
input data) from a known graph. Also pictures of various graphs with
their corresponding equations

Here is a very simple linear interpolation calculator:

There are much better methods of interpolation.  Any quality math
package, like Matlab, Mathamatica or Maple should be able to do spline
interpolation.
