In 1879, a business called "Propaganda Musical" published at least one
piece of sheet music. A blurb on the sheet music -- which was
written entirely in Spanish -- said that this company also sold
musical instruments sheet music. The company address and/or store was
at 29 East 18th St, Manhattan, NY. I am looking for any available
information on this company, from business directories and so on. Do
such such listings exist in Trow or other directories for 1879 and or
earlier and or later? The initial directory research -- which should
be simple for anybody using a major public Library -- may give further
clues to be followed up as separate question.
