What does a.q. on menus stand for? I know it's the equivalent of "market price" (e.g., for fresh fish, etc.) but so far no restaurant has been able to explain exactly what it means. I'm guessing it's Latin for something similar to "at quote." Because it's such a short search term I've been completely unable to get this one answered online...help! | |
