Hi,

I'm interested in donating my eggs to an infertile couple for some
compensatory fee. The agencies I've found usually pay $5,000 to
$6,500. I believe I have great genes (see reasons below) and I would
like to get $25,000 or more.

- I am a 5' 10", 133lb., naturally blonde and blue-eyed, attractive Caucasian.
- I graduated from MIT at age 20.
- My great-grandparents have lived or are living into their nineties
and my family has no history of mental illness, alcoholism, heart
disease, obesity, or genetically-correlated cancer.
- I am athletically gifted and play multiple sports at a competitive level.

My question is: what is the best way for me to ensure I receive top
value for my genes?

A likely answer would include some information on "elite" egg
donation, names with contact information of agencies and/or attorneys
servicing high-income clients, ads placed for egg donors offering $20K
or more, and other similar "eggs wanted" contacts.

Thank you very much.

I'm glad my comment was of use. I've reposted it below, and I've
gathered some additional material for you.

The "Extraordinary Donors" program at Conceptual Options:

Conceptual Options: Extraordinary Egg Donors
http://www.extraordinaryeggdonors.com/

"Conceptual Options in San Diego breaks its list into two groups,
donors and higher priced 'extraordinary donors.' One of those on the
extraordinary list is Valerie, a stunning brunet with a perfect smile
and an astounding resume. At age 23, she is a third-year medical
student in California. She's 5 feet 8, a National Merit Scholar,
professional ballerina, competitive equestrian and award-winning
athlete. She 'requests $50,000+ compensation,' according to her online
profile."

Conceptual Options

"In order to qualify as an Exceptional Donor you must:

1. Have graduated from a major university, or currently attending
one. (preferrable Ivy League, but not necessary.) with GPA of
3.0 +

2. SAT scores of 1350+, ACT scores of 30+
(If you have not taken it, that is ok.)

3. Have a documented high IQ, if you have been tested.
(or be willing to take an IQ test if a couple requests it)

4. Have documentation of your educational back ground,
achievements, and college transcripts."

known donor program, the choice is yours.

Exceptional Donors, Inc. matchmakers are always searching for truly
exceptional donors. We encourage young women of all ethnic
backgrounds to apply...

"We understand that financial considerations are not a major
motivating factor when a woman decides to help in this very special
way. However, we strongly believe that an Egg Donor should be
compensated for her time and commitment to her couple. Furthermore,
offering compensation allows a couple to say 'thank you' for helping
them realize their dream of parenting.

Every case is unique and therefore compensation offered will depend on
many variables. Additional compensation is offered to those donors who
have earned a post-graduate degree; have a unique skill,
characteristic or trait; or if she has previously cycled with our
program and her Couple achieved a pregnancy."

"ProLiviti?s Premier Donor Program

Donors who are in our Premier program generally receive a higher fee.
Determining factors to be a premier donor are as follows, but are not
limited to:

Successful cycles with proven pregnancies
Exceptional professional achievements
Superior education background
IVY League educated
Ethnic background"

"(Jackie Gorton's) is an application process unlike any other.
Candidates must meet height and weight restrictions. Ideally, they
must have some schooling beyond high school. Those callers who make it
through the telephone interview are sent a 16- page application
requesting information on everything from their paternal grandfather's
eye color to whether their aunts or uncles ever suffered a heart
attack or stroke. Ms Gorton's agency encourages meetings between
donors and recipients, but many such agencies do not."

Another useful source can be classified advertisements in college newspapers:

"The ads can be found in college newspapers: 'Wanted--one egg donor of
superior intelligence, blond hair, blue eyes, trim, musically and
artistically inclined, with no family history of disease.'

Egg donation has given many people the gift of parenthood. But as the
number of babies born from this reproductive technology climbs, so too
does the compensation given for 'premium' eggs.... some brokers are
marketing premium eggs from such sources as Ivy League university
students. The newspaper serving Brown University reported ads offering
as much as $75,000 for eggs."

Below is the Google search string that gave me the best results. You
may find this search string useful if you seek additional information:

I hope this helps! If anything is unclear or incomplete, please

Hi pinkfreud,

Other than Extradorinary Egg Donors and A Perfect Match (an agency I
found through my own searching), which agencies of those you found
have a history of large (>$20K) compensations? I'm sorry - I'm sure
that I must come off as very greedy, but I don't want to accept a fee
of $10K if twice the compensation is available elsewhere.

Thanks.

Few of these agencies and brokers are willing to disclose the exact
details of payment, or the history of same. As part of the application
process, you may list a minimum amount that you would find acceptable.
Generally, egg donation services which have special programs for
donors which use terms such as "premium," "premier," "exceptional" are
your best bet.

Sorry for the typo in my response above. I left out the word 'or' in
one sentence, which should have read as follows:

"egg donation services which have special programs for donors or which
use terms such as 'premium,' 'premier,' 'exceptional' are your best
bet."

Fairly thorough answer. I overestimated the quality of information
available (and thus feel like I overpriced my question), but none of
that is the Researcher's responsibility. The Researcher did provide
clarification when asked. Thank you, pinkfreud, for your assistance.
